Digital Storytelling with Tulane Exhibits

A guide to creating a digital exhibit in Tulane Exhibits, a WordPress site.

Tulane Exhibits: on WordPress

WordPress

Tulane Exhibits offers a public-facing digital exhibit platform for Tulane affiliates that is hosted on WordPress, an open source web publishing system for the display of library, museum, archives, and scholarly narrative content. Tulane University maintains an up-to-date, secure, and multi-server WordPress system for hosting websites for the Tulane Community.

Exhibits can be made public and discoverable by all online users or can be kept private for classroom use, for example. They can also be long-lived or ephemeral, as an exhibit creator you have control over the digital life and extension of your exhibit.

Support

Support is available throughout the exhibit creation process.

  • Staff of the Digital Scholarship and Initiatives Department are available to provide guidance and will review completed exhibits before publishing to ensure that standards have been met.
  • Contact us by email at digital@tulane.edu with questions.
