Faculty Orientation to Tulane University Libraries (TUL)

Course reserves are physical items that instructors request to be reserved for course participants and set time periods. At Tulane University Libraries this service is offered at Howard-Tilton Memorial Library and the Rudolph Matas Library of the Health Sciences.

Faculty may choose between the two Media Reserves models:
Digital - Media Services will verify availability for every title on your list. We will make every effort to provide access to films through a suite of online academic resources. Please note: if a film is only available via commercial streaming platforms, the library cannot make this film available via your Canvas Course Page. In these instances, faculty have the option of placing that title(s) on physical media reserve.
Physical - Physical DVDs or blu-rays will be placed on reserve at the 6th floor Service Desk. Faculty may select an hourly loan period (students may use a library viewing station), or daily loan period (students may check them out of the library).
