Learn the information skills needed for finding, retrieving, evaluating and (ethically) using the best evidence with the Rudolph Matas Library of the Health Sciences! The Matas Library provides a wide array of information-related educational services in a library setting to Tulane University’s School of Medicine, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and Tulane National Primate Research Center.
Information skill development instruction can be requested for consultations, classes, faculty meetings, or any group in the Tulane Health Sciences community.
The information skills required for scholarly communication are taught in a variety of formats: in-person (in the library or your own classroom) and online (synchronous or asynchronous) in various formats: tutorials, workshops, departmental professional development, library guides, or embedded services designed to meet the learning objectives for your course or personal needs.
