Settings to Improve Zoom Recording Quality

In order to improve the quality of your Zoom recordings, check the following settings:

1. In the Zoom desktop app, go to Settings, click on the Video tab in the left sidebar and click HD to enable HD video.

2. In the Recording settings, click Optimize for 3rd party video editor if you plan to do any video editing to your Zoom recordings.

3. If recording with more than 2 participants it is best to have Group HD enabled. To view this setting, access Zoom via the web portal. Select Settings on the left sidebar. In the Meetings tab, go to the In Meeting (Advanced) section and make sure Group HD video is turned on.

In addition to these settings, you should try to record in a place with a strong internet connection. Video quality can be impacted by a weak internet connection.
