About this Guide

This guide will cover the various audiovisual (AV) production services available to Tulane University Libraries and other Tulane affiliates by the Digital Scholarship & Initiatives (DSI) department. This guide will also include the procedures for requesting these services and getting AV content published to the Tulane University Libraries YouTube channel and the Tulane University Digital Library (TUDL).

Staff Roles for AV Services

Alan Velasquez - Media Production Unit Coordinator - Videographer and editor for AV projects. Creates captions and transcripts. Manages TUL YouTube channel.

Peyton Jernigan - Student Assistant - Creates captions and transcripts

Mya Cummins - Student Assistant - Creates captions and transcripts

DSI uses Adobe Premiere Pro software for video editing and transcribing/captioning.
