6.2. What is a Library Guide?

The previous modules aimed to give you the tools to navigate key library resources for scholarly research on Latin America and the Caribbean. 

Now that you know how to do effective keyword searches in academic databases, find and check out books, and access scholarly articles, you're well equipped to navigate Tulane Libraries' wide variety of Library Guides.

6.3. Accessing LAL Library Guides

There are two ways to access The Latin American Library's Library Guides:

1. Go to The Latin American Library website, https://library.tulane.edu/lal, scroll to the RESEARCH SUPPORT section, and click on Library Guides:

 

2. Go to the Tulane Libraries homepage, click on the LIBRARY GUIDES button, then find the subject section for LATIN AMERICAN STUDIES:
