Latin American Library Research Basics is a learning tool geared at Tulane students in Latin American, Caribbean, Latinx, and Iberian Studies courses.
This asynchronous resource allows you to work at your own pace to learn how to effectively navigate the resources available through The Latin American Library (LAL) and Tulane University Libraries.
Use the left-hand menu to navigate through the numbered learning modules. Please note:
- Each module and box within it is numbered for easy reference (i.e. Module 2 has boxes 2.1, 2.2, etc.).
- Boxes outlining learning goals are shaded grey.
- Boxes containing follow-up activities are shaded light blue. You may use these as learning checks, or your instructor may choose to assign them as coursework.
- Many of the video tutorials featured in this resource were made by information professionals at libraries other than Tulane. Please remember not to use the contact information provided on those videos! Rather, contact The Latin American Library at LAL@tulane.edu for research support.
