Literature Databases

Asian American Drama This link opens in a new window
Full text plays together with detailed, fielded information on related productions, theaters, production companies, and more. Some 50% of these plays have never been published before. The database also includes selected playbills, production photographs and other ephemera related to the plays.
South and Southeast Asian Literature This link opens in a new window
Fiction and poetry written in English by authors from South and Southeast Asia and their diasporas.

Literary Works in Print

If you know which literary work you're looking for, search the title or author in our Library Catalog. Request books we don't have through Interlibrary Loan.

If you'd like to browse literary works in our print collections, head to the 2nd floor of Howard-Tilton Memorial Library (7001 Freret St), which is where books with call numbers starting with PJ-PS are located.

The Library of Congress classifies Asian literatures with PJ, PK, PL, and PM call numbers. Asian American literatures are classified under PS, for American literature. Check out this call number list for more specific browsing ranges.
