Alma is the library's integrated data system from Ex-Libris. TUL's instance of Alma stores acquisitions and activity data that can be queried for analysis. To help library employees efficiently retrieve data from Alma, the Collection Oversight Committee has created Analytics Objects that provide filtering options that make retrieval easier. At this time, the following objects are maintained and regularly used:
If you would like to have quick access to any of the objects, simply pin them to your analytics menu using the following steps:
To access objects, visit Alma and select the Analytics icon in the left menu (image 1)
To access an Analytics Object, an administrator must add you as an object user OR must invite your user group to access the object. The access model should be left up to the discretion of the object creator and their supervisor depending on organizational needs.
Once added to an Object, you can pin it to your account. To pin an object, select Shared With Me in the top left corner.
Once in the new window, search for the object by name, select the object’s title, then select Pin to Analytics Menu.
Refresh your browser and revisit the Analytics icon in the left menu. You should now see the pinned objects.
