Communication Collection Policy

Monographs and monographic series are purchased on approval from GOBI. Books from publishers not covered by GOBI are purchased on a title by title basis from Amazon or similar book vendors. DVDs are purchased from a variety of vendors including Amazon, Filmmakers, Icarus, Kino, Media Education Foundation, Third World Newsreel, and Women Making Movies, among others.

Reviews in major professional literature and trade publications, faculty requests, and selection tools available via GOBI.

The Glenda Burke fund may be used for the acquisition of monographs in rhetoric, debate, speech, and related topics.
