This library guide generally supports education on diversity and inclusion in architecture and specifically supports student work in “Identity & Agency in Architecture” (ARCH 4930/6930), a spring 2021 course offered by Laura Blokker and Rashidah Williams. The course and guide draw attention to a diversity deficit in architecture, particularly of professionals who identify as Black or African American and/or women, as well as persons of many other underrepresented identities and intersections of identities.
