The online version of The Pidgeon Audiovisual. It is a collection of talks by contemporary architects and related designers. The collection was founded in 1979 by Monica Pidgeon (long-time editor of the influential magazine Architectural Design) and lectures are continually added.
Art and Architecture in Video offers over 500 hours of documentaries and interviews illustrating the theory and practice of a variety of art forms. The collection spans many periods and regions, including coverage of the Renaissance, Neoclassicism, Romanticism, Modern, and Contemporary art. In addition to art history and theory, the collection addresses applied topics such as architectural and graphic design.
