Student Exhibits

The Stacy Mandel Palagye and Keith Palagye Program for Middle East Peace at the Tulane School of Liberal Arts provides intensive learning and study abroad opportunities to encourage Tulane students to delve into the complexities of the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Students in the program have created two digital projects featuring their summer research, hosted on Tulane University Libraries' Exhibits platform:

Researching Complexity (2024)
Tulane students spent four weeks in the summer of 2024 studying the dynamics of the Arab-Israeli conflict through classroom study and experiential learning in Washington, DC. Their individual research projects consider topics such as: shifting U.S. public opinion, grassroots peacebuilding initiatives, the application of international law, and cultural diplomacy.
Conflict and Coexistence in Jerusalem (2022)
Tulane students in the Stacy Mandel Palagye and Keith Palagye Program for Middle East Peace spent five weeks in the summer of 2022 studying the dynamics of the Arab-Israeli conflict through classroom study and hands-on experience in Jerusalem. They pursued individual research interests such as: women’s roles in peacebuilding organizations, health policies in East Jerusalem, and technology as a means to oppress or to unite.
