What is Imagetwin?
Imagetwin is AI-based software that scans life sciences images to identify potential duplications and/or manipulations.
It allows users to:
- upload documents or images to Imagetwin's online platform, which scans and compares the upload to images within the uploaded document and also to Imagetwin's database of more than 50 million scientific images from previous publications.
- detect image duplication and image manipulation (such as scaling, rotations, flipping, brightness, contrast and color).
- scan gel bands, microscopies, and light photography that are uploaded in PDF format or common image file types (such as .jpg, .png, .tiff, .svg, .bmp).
