A proprietary, but commonly available, spreadsheet software with a multitude of functions for managing and transforming data.

A free source code editor and Notepad replacement that supports several languages. It is especially useful for checking your data for unexpected characters, correcting encoding issues, and other support functions to the work done by other spreadsheet-based tools.

This workshop is available to Tulane affiliates via LinkedIn Learning. LinkedIn Learning has workshops on every version of Microsoft Excel and some other spreadsheet software, but this is the version used most at Tulane.
