Program Description

 Howard-Tilton Memorial Library collects materials in support of teaching and research in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. The department offers a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. Tulane's undergraduate Chemical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Chemical, Biochemical, Biomolecular, and Similarly Named Engineering Programs. Areas of emphasis within the department include advanced materials, biomolecular engineering, and environmental technologies. Research focuses on nanoscale materials, polymers, composite materials, catalytic materials, and bioinspired materials; gene delivery, cell & tissue culture, and targeted drug delivery; and environmental remediation.
