Partner with Media Services

Media Services and the library would be happy to partner with you on your campus screening event! There are two levels of partnership that Media Services can offer:

Sponsor

As a sponsor, we can:

  • Help identify films in our collections that meet your interest(s)
  • Purchase/license the film you would like to screen whenever possible*

Co-Host

As co-host, we can:

  • Help identify films in our collections that meet your interest(s)
  • Purchase/license the film you would like to screen whenever possible*
  • Collaboratively design and plan related programming (example: panel discussion, post-screening Q&A, post-screening facilitated discussions, etc)
  • Collaborate on marketing and outreach

*Due to demand, at this time we are not able to purchase one-time screening licenses.

Regardless of how you choose to partner with us, we simply ask that you include the library's logo on your marketing material. Please email mediaservices@tulane.edu to start the conversation and obtain our logo image files.

Find Eligible Films

Before using films from the library's collection for a campus screening, please make sure it has Public Performing Rights (PPR).

If you'd like to host a screening with a DVD from the library's collection, please inquire about PPR status by emailing mediaservices@tulane.edu.

What to do if you want to screen a Netflix title

Your personal Netflix account does not permit sharing or campus screenings. There are no options for academic libraries to purchase a campus screening license, either.

Before screening a Netflix title on campus, find out if it is part of their education collection.
