Here might be a good place to list the criteria for transferring an item from another part of the library collection such as, say, the general circulating collection to Rare Books--either within its H-TML 6th floor closed stacks or to the off-site facility with a Rare designation.
Conversely, perhaps there may also be a use for establishing criteria for transferring items out of Rare Books.
