As part of the process for gaining institutional reaccreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), the university is required to develop a Quality Enhancement Project (QEP) that will improve the educational experience for a significant number of students. Data Literacy has been selected as the theme for this project.  A committee of faculty and administrators from across the university, chaired by Kimberly Foster, the dean of our School of Science and Engineering, has begun work that will flesh out this theme into a formal proposal for submission to SACSCOC next fall (Fall 2021).
