Howard-Tilton Memorial Library collections policies supporting the Department of Chemistry at Tulane

Imprint Date Considerations

Preference is given to items published within the last two or three years. Items with older imprint dates are sought selectively. Out-of-print materials are sought selectively, mostly to replace important works damaged or missing from the collection.

Chronological Period Considerations

Emphasis is on current research. Historical materials of general interest in chemistry and chemical engineering are collected with the assistance of the deMilt Fund.
