Primary Sources
A major research project may require working with both analog and digitized sources. Some examples include:
- archives and manuscript material
- photographs, audio recordings, video recordings, films
- journals, letters, diaries, scrapbooks, autobiographies, memoirs
- published books, newspapers and magazine clippings published at the time
- government publications
- records of organizations
- printed ephemera
- research data, e.g. public opinion polls
