Select Companies/Markets from the top menu bar. Next, click on Quotes and select Funds as the Instrument from the menu.
Note: Factiva allows a maximum of 8 simultaneous users.

Investment Company Institute
Provides statistics, background information, and position papers.
Morningstar.com Mutual Funds
Some information is available for free after a simple registration process.

Begin by clicking on the Mutual Funds/ETFs menu at the top of the screen.

Thomson One is no longer supported and was replaced by Refinitiv Workspace for Students. RWS can be found on the Turchin Business Library's A-Z database page https://libguides.tulane.edu/busdatabases. You will need to create an account before using.

Alternatively, if you would like to access Thomson One, you can still do so using a Microsoft Edge browser. Here are instructions for allowing Edge to open pages as Internet Explorer:
Open Microsoft Edge on Windows 10.
1. Click the Settings and More (ellipsis) button on the top-right corner.
2. Select the Settings option.
3. Click on Default browser.
4. Under the "Internet Explorer compatibility" section, turn on the "Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode" toggle switch.

Must use with Internet Explorer. Disable pop-up blockers. Limit of 20 simultaneous users. Company information from a variety of sources provided by Thomson Reuters including: private equity, company financials and filings, mergers and acquisitions data and analyst reports. Data types include: company overviews, company news and price charts, corporate governance (takeover defense), corporate financial fundamentals, estimates (and earnings surprises), debt overview, company deals, share ownership information, company research, company financial filings, officers and directors.

Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS)

Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS)
Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) is a comprehensive economic and financial data management system intended solely for research purposes. Current Freeman faculty, Ph.D., and graduate students are eligible to register for WRDS accounts.
To register for an account, open the WRDS page and select "register for a WRDS account."

Access by faculty and Ph.D. students from other schools is granted on a discretionary basis. Please contact turchin@tulane.edu to request account approval.

Financial Analysis Lab

These databases are available in the Financial Analysis Lab in Turchin Library, 3rd floor, Goldring-Woldenberg Hall 1. The Lab is available to current Freeman School students, faculty, and staff, and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Bloomberg Academic
Current and historical financial information on individual equities, stock market indices, fixed-income securities, currencies, commodities, and futures for both international and domestic markets.

Please reach out to the library for information on Bloomberg certification. Freeman students, faculty, and staff can receive certification in Bloomberg Market Concepts and Bloomberg's Environmental and Social Governance modules.
Datastream
**Datastream can now be accessed through WRDS. See 'Thomson/Refinitiv' tab in WRDS for more info**
Provides historical time series data for a variety of securities and markets worldwide. Use Datastream to find historical equity, index, commodity, currency, ond, futures, options, economic data, etc. The Excel add-on allows researchers to download data on multiple securities simultaneously.

Thomson Reuters EIKON

For those with pre-approved access to Thomson Reuters EIKON through graduate classes or faculty research, use the following strategy to search for mutual fund data:

From the top menu, use the pull-down menu for Asset Classes, Funds, Instruments, then choose Create List OR Advanced Sort OR Fund Screener.
