Posters and Presentations: A Guide
This guide will help you create research poster presentations
These resoures are from the presentation: “So Your Poster Got Accepted – Now What? Poster Design Tips,” with guest speaker Tracy Volz, Ph.D., Assistant Director of the Cain Project in Engineering and Professional Communication at Rice University. View the presentation here: http://nnlm.gov/scr/training/webmeeting.html.
In order to show a practical application of the design and communication strategies, Dr. Volz used a “before and after” poster makeover. She critiqued the draft of a poster and then walked through the revised version.
Here is a document of unknown source (!) that reviews the initial sketch, layout, balance, topography, and eye movement with a sample.
This guidance is part of a group of graduation documents which can be found by Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine students in the Documents page of CHSC Graduates in Blackboard.
