The Matas Book Club is a book club for students, faculty, and staff to gather and discuss literature geared towards the health sciences. We meet each semester in-person at the Matas Library (Hutchinson Bldg, 2nd Floor).

Who can particpiate?
The Matas Book Club invites all downtown students, faculty, and staff to participate in our semesterly book club!
Request the selected book through Tulane Libraries. We strive to select books that are currently in our libraries catalog - either at Matas Library downtown or at Howard-Tilton Memorial Library uptown. To request a book, simply search in the library catalog, linked above, and choose your drop-off location: Matas or HTML.

The Jefferson Parish Public Library has a reciprocal borrowing agreement with the New Orleans Public Library. To gain a JPL library card, you must visit a JPL library location, fill out an application, and show a valid form of ID.
