Introduction

In light of the global pandemic affecting individuals, companies, industries, and markets worldwide, Turchin Library created this guide to business databases with reports and articles about the novel coronavirus and its business, economic, and financial impacts.

In addition to keyword searching, many databases include the ability to add additional filters like company name, industry or NAICS code, location, and type of document. Try narrowing your search using these filters. Additionally, many databases include a "News" section featuring information about companies, industries, and regions.

COVID-19 News & Reports

ABI/INFORM COLLECTION
Search for "COVID-19" or "Coronavirus" in the search bar at the top of the screen. You can then filter your search by company name, industry/ NAICS code, and location in the search bars below. Add additional filters for source, document, and language types.

Full-text coverage of newspapers, periodicals, and other sources of business and general news, plus company reports, industry reports, and financial data compiled by Dow-Jones and Reuters. Note: Factiva allows for a maximum of 8 concurrent users.
Hoover's Company Profiles (Business Market Research Collection)
Search for "COVID-19" or "Coronavirus" in search bar at top of screen. Then add filters such as Company, Location, NAICS code, and document type.

The electronic editions of record for valuable local, regional, and national newspapers--all in one easy-to-search database. Each paper provides unique coverage of local and regional news, including companies, politics, sports, industries, cultural activities, and people in the community.

Newspaper Source Plus provides a full-text digital collection of the world's major news content. It includes millions of articles from newspapers, newswires and news magazines. Included is cover-to-cover full text for The Christian Science Monitor and The Los Angeles Times as well as selected full text from hundreds of regional newspapers. Search for news stories. Apply filters including location, date, subject, and industry.

Find U.S. COVID-19 data by date, county or state. Rank and compare counties by infection rates and more.

To locate this data, select the Data tab, click on the "Data Folder" view (located just below the data search box), then scroll to the bottom of the list of data folders, OR click on the Health category icon from the Data tab, then check box next to COVID-19 in the list of health sub-categories.

A leading full-text scientific database offering journal articles and book chapters (both Open Access and library-subscribed) on social sciences, humanities, scientific, technical, and medical research. A COVID-19 Information Center can be accessed via a link on the home page. This link features the most relevant scientific research on COVID-19.
