Set collection values, standards, and principles
Manage collections policies
Document workflows and procedures
Manage annual collections calendar (budget, projects, etc.)
Manage collections review process
Determine the identity of the libraries’ print collection
Manage “Big ticket” purchases
Review annual budget allocations
Recommend space projects
Communicate work internally and externally (as appropriate)
Faciliate collections conversations (e.g. language and area studies, etc.)
