How to Link to Library Search
Library Search provides access to full-text articles and eBooks. 

  • Locate the desired item via Library Search box on the library home page.
  • Under Send to click on Permalink.
  • Copy the Permalink to Clipboard.
  • Paste the link into your course document.

How to Link to content in Databases

1. To link directly to full-text content in a library-licensed database: 

  • Find the useable link for the item in the database (JSTOR, Project Muse, ScienceDirect, EBSCOhost or similar).
  • JSTOR has persistent links called stable URLs.  On other platforms persistent links may be labeled as permalinks or DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers). 
  • Copy the URL.


2. Generate a Proxied-Link

  • Use OpenAthens to generate a proxied link for off-campus access from permalinks or stable URLs.
  • Paste the stable URL here:

  • Copy the Open Athens link.
