ENGL 1010 - Murdock-Hinrichs

On tap

Our time together will be split over two classes. In the first, we'll spend some time thinking about where authority comes from and then will bring our our skills for finding relevant books in Library Search to the next level. In the second session, we'll get you set up to find articles for your ENGL1010 research project and, in the process, we'll examine the implications of the commodification of information on your academic and post-academic research.

Over the course of the session, i'll be using a shared Google doc to jot things down in place of a traditional classroom white board. Here are the links to the Google doc for each ENGL-1010 section:

Section -10 (7:40 am)

Section -11 (9:15 am)

Section -13 (10:55 am)

What kind of information do you need and where will you find it?

How'd I do today?

Your input is so important! Please take the last few minutes of today's class to share your thoughts on today's session.
