What is a Citation Manager?

When you find articles of interest in a database or search engine, programs such as EndNote make it easy to pull the citations into a personal database and create a collection of references and cite them in your document - the software will automatically put in correctly formatted citations and a bibliography. The Matas Library provides support for EndNote. There are many other tools available.

A beta version compatible with Word 2016 is available. Another option is to install Word 2013.

A new version of Write-N-Cite/ ProQuest for Word for both Windows (v. 4.4.1298) and Mac (v. 4.4.1245) is now available. These versions resolve the following issues:

Windows users: Java 8 update affecting log in to Write-N-Cite/ProQuest For Word and creating multiple log files

Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) and 10.10 (Yosemite) Users: Please download Java 6 from Apple's support site directly by visiting,http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1572 before installing Write-N-Cite/ProQuest for Word.

Download Write-N-Cite for Word from the Tools menu in your RefWorks account.
