The Scholarly Engagement Librarian for the Humanities supports Tulane faculty and students in the humanities departments. She combines information literacy instruction, research consultations, and outreach with collection development for humanities areas. The librarian acts as the library liaison to assigned departments; meets with students, faculty, and researchers individually or in groups to provide timely, relevant services and sources information; evaluates information needs; and plans, implements, and assess initiatives that support the humanities faculty and students across campus. She participates in University Working Groups targeting first-year students (such as First-Year Experience, Spring Scholars, and the First Year Reading Project) and liaises with Newcomb-Tulane College Office of Cohort Programs.
